Kiel Economic Development Agency endeavours to ensure that its website is accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council, as well as in accordance with Section 11(1) of the State Disability Equality Act (LBGG) and the accessibility requirements set out in Section 13(3) of the LBGG.

Sections that are not accessible:
- PDF documents available for download; due to the large number of documents, they are being processed continuously and gradually replaced with accessible versions
- In some cases: video subtitles, provided they are older or were created by third parties
- Documents and web pages containing maps and site plans
- Content in plain language and, where applicable, sign language
- Image captions
We are working to remove existing barriers as quickly as possible.

Complaints procedure
The State Commissioner for People with Disabilities operates a complaints office in accordance with Section 12 of the State Act on the Rights of People with Disabilities (LBGG).
The purpose of the complaints office is to resolve disputes between people with disabilities and public bodies.
You can contact the complaints office if you are not satisfied with the responses received via the contact details provided above. The aim is not to determine who is right or wrong. It is about working together with the help of the complaints office to find a solution to a problem out of court.
The complaints procedure is free of charge. You do not need legal representation either.
