KielRegion.Accelerates is the accelerator program for growth-oriented, innovative, and forward-looking start-ups from the Kiel region (Kiel, the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, and the district of Plön) that have achieved initial market validation and now wish to further scale their operations.
In collaboration with the Kiel Innovation and Technology Centre (KITZ), KielRegion, opencampus.sh, the Plön District Economic Development Agency and the Rendsburg-Eckernförde District Economic Development Agency, we offer you five months of professional, intensive support – practical advice tailored to your needs, and with tangible results.

Looking for information on permits or contacts at government departments?
The city’s service center for start-ups and entrepreneurship provides support in navigating the administrative process, finding the right contacts across the various departments, and coordinating permit procedures.
Funding & Financing
We advise start-ups on what their next financing options might look like. Depending on their capital requirements and current situations, we assess which financing models are available from public or private funders. Through our connections with MBG Schleswig-Holstein, other financial institutions in Kiel, as well as with private investors, we connect startups with potential funders. We also provide support in creating compelling pitch decks.

Whether you’re setting up a new business, expanding your premises, or looking for your first office space: together with our extensive network, we help startups find suitable office space as well as industrial and warehouse premises in Kiel.
