As the Kiel Economic Development Agency (KiWi), we see ourselves as a shaper of the future, a driver of structural development, and a service provider for Kiel as a business location. Whether it’s start-ups, business development or business relocation – we act as the link between the business community, the local government, universities, as well as support companies in all matters relating to start-ups, location, innovation and financing. In addition, we support investors, market our own and the city’s commercial sites and properties, manage project redevelopment sites and promote cooperation between education, science, and industry.
Our mission: to create modern commercial spaces, drive innovation, secure skilled workers, and position Kiel as an innovative, future-proof business location both regionally and nationally.
