Waterkant Festival 2026

The Waterkant Festival is the leading start-up and innovation festival in northern Germany, organised by the educational platform opencampus.sh. The festival offers a varied programme comprising over 80 talks, interactive workshops and panel discussions. The key themes include:

• Future technologies: Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics and open source.
• Sustainability: Circular economy, climate protection, energy and marine research.
• Society & Business: New educational concepts, future-proof employment and innovative business succession.
• Interactive highlights: Open pitch sessions for founders, investor speed-dating, food trucks, live music and relaxed networking right by the water.
